【コメント】: 前作Emmylou Harrisとの「All The Roadrunning」でアメリカン・ルーツ・ミュージックとコマーシャルさを両立させた見事なまでの美しい音楽を披露してくれたが、本作ソロ名義作ならではの彼のルーツに対するスタンスがわかりやすい形でまとまったアルバムに仕上がっている。
非常にシンプルでルーツィでゆったりとしつつ、哀愁のある、フォーク、カントリー作。

【コメント】: I have recently bought this CD as I have followed Mark's music and am a devoted fan of him and Dire Straits. Unlike the recent peppy duet Emmy Lou Harris album this album is full of more introspective and melancholy tunes in Marks signature style, backed by his virtuouso guitar playing. The melodies and lyrics are soulful and I strongly recommend the album. Four stars
